Caño Island Biological Reserve is located about 15 km off of the Osa Peninsula. A well protected in-shore reef makes this island the best spot in Costa Rica for snorkeling. Explore the forest around the Tent Camp at night. Maybe you can see some of the animals active in the dark or birds and mammals sleeping. A monocular night vision device and flashlights will help you to spot them.
